Vega School Johannesburg welcomed our 19th Trailblazer Pod at the end of March. We were lucky to have the first Veganite who completed a three-year qualification share the breakfast table with us and share her ideas.
Thanks to Margarita Karvouniaris (MassDiscounters – Head of Brand at Game SA), Bernice Puleng Mosala (Copywriting Intern at M&C Saatchi Abel), Biljana Brkic (Vega Navigator), Prince Mphomane (Breinstorm), Mishka Naidoo (Art Director at Mama), Raphael Kuppasamy (Art Director at M&C Saatchi and recent winner of the Bookmarks Pixel Award), Monwabisi Thethe (Chief Entertainment Officer), Maliyamungu Gift Muhande (currently doing her Masters at the New School in New York), Dominique Egan (Tilt), Kgomotso (Green Robot), and Andisa Ntsubane (Old Mutual) who joined us.
Trailblazer Pods are breakfast meetings where we catch up with our IIE Vega’s spectacular alumni to hear about their journeys in the industry and brainstorm how as a collective we can positively influence the world around us. One of our first projects started from these sessions is the Alhambra Theatre cleanup with the ReImagination Foundation.
