Internship Graphic Design

WeColab is seeking a creative and driven Design Intern to join our dynamic team in a hybrid work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects, from print media to digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, with the ability to create visually compelling work that aligns with brand guidelines and strategic objectives. The intern will collaborate with different departments, contributing to the creation of high-quality visual content and design materials. The Intern is employed in the position of Intern and shall report to the Project Manager and/or the Creative Director. The Intern shall be working from home and, when required, from the Employer’s offices.

• The Intern’s essential job functions and outcomes of the internship include
• Assist the team in completing tasks timeously for various clients;
• Assist the team in creating high quality designs for multiple projects;
• Assist the team in creating high quality HTML designs for e-mail campaigns;
• Assist the team in developing material for projects;
• The ability to follow and manage brand guidelines and consistency;
• Assist the team to generate new and original ideas within the parameters of stated briefs;
• Being a team player with internal and/or external partner relations; 
• Assist the team in designing and animation of motion graphics; 
• Assist the team in creating infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data;
• Assisting the team in creating and presenting concepts for new projects and campaigns; 
• Assist the team in brand identity, logo and package design; 
• Assist the team with print collateral including tradeshow signage, direct mail, editorial layout and booklets etc;
• Assist the team with digital design and social media content creation - edit and optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms; 
• Assist the team with photo retouching, manipulation, colour correcting and archiving; 
• Collaborating with co-workers, partners and suppliers; attending press checks to ensure print quality etc; 
• Various other adhoc duties as assigned. 

General administrative tasks. 

• The Employment Position has the following requirement:
• The ability to work well under pressure, multitask and meet strict deadlines; 
• The ability to work well with all levels of staff, partners and suppliers;
• The Intern must possess good communication skills. 

The Intern is required to have the following qualifications and experience:

Relevant degree or diploma;

• A knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS and production skills;
• Basic video editing skills advantageous.

Work Setup Requirements

• Hybrid work setup: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote. 
•  A reliable home office setup, including: Stable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace for uninterrupted focus.
