Social Media Intern

A social media internship candidate would need to be available and keen to do the following:

• Be prepared to travel to our studio in Parkview for an interview and to demonstrate social media skills by referring to own social media platforms, Vega projects or other brands
• Have own transport
• Have own smartphone, data and access to power during load shedding
• Be prepared to travel to our studio in Parkview, Johannesburg, for a few hours once a week to take pictures and video for our social media channels
• Be able to come up with original and engaging ideas for social media content
• Be able to create and share social media content across Instagram, Facebook and tiktok
• Be able to compile a weekly mail chimp newsletter in collaboration with our marketing head
• Be interested in contributing to the social media strategy for The Makery Collection and brainstorm ideas and direction to keep the brand relevant and exciting for its audience

This would be a paid internship with the fee to be negotiated according to the candidate’s skills and experience. The candidate would need to commit to at least a 6-month internship.
