The Senior Experience Writer is responsible for the creation and development of written content across various digital channels to enhance the overall user experience. This senior-level role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft engaging messaging and deliver consistent and impactful content. Responsibilities:
- Own the creation of high-quality, engaging, and persuasive written content for digital experiences which may include websites, email campaigns, blog posts, mobile apps, and social media.
- Craft clear and concise messaging that effectively communicates key brand messages, product information, value propositions, and calls to action.
- Present work to clients in a clear and engaging way.
- Recommend test-and-learn opportunities to challenge and optimize content effectiveness.
- Be an influential voice during content brainstorming and strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure seamless integration of written content into visual and interactive elements.
- Help develop and maintain brand voice and tone guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging across all customer touch-points.
- Utilize research and data to inform content development and enhance user experience.
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, clarity, and accuracy, adhering to brand guidelines and industry standards.
- Support the optimization of content for search engine optimization (SEO).
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to content creation and user experience.
- Assist in conducting content audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing content and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help analyse user feedback to provide insights for content refinement and enhancing the user experience.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in writing and content strategy.
- Contribute to thought leadership content on experience design topics.
- Make sure the content complies to the brand style and tone.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and style across all materials.
5-8 years of experience creating content for digital experiences.
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A strong portfolio of diverse written content across different channels.
Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated creativity and a passion for writing and storytelling.
Deep understanding of digital marketing, UX/UI design, experience principles or related areas.
Deep understanding of content strategy, SEO, branding, and messaging.
Ability to gather and analyse information from various sources.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to provide input on level of effort to aid in scoping and scheduling.
