Marketing Administrator

We are looking for a talented individual to administer internal and external campaigns for the group of companies. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, and responding to followers. You will be responsible for managing our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

The role requires an energetic, positive, creative, and flexible individual who possesses a strong desire to succeed. You will be expected to multi-task, self-manage and stay up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media/online trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media and online strategy to align with business goals
• Set specific objectives and report on same
• Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure brand consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
• Create marketing material
• Create internal morale amongst staff

Suitable candidates require:

• Candidates must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Degree in Marketing or relevant field of study would be an advantage
• At least 1 years’ experience within Marketing
• Hands on experience in content management
• Excellent communication, analytical and administrative skills
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Familiarity with web design
• Creative/artistic
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator / photoshop
