A full-time internship, offering a great opportunity for a graduate to gain work experience in a fast-paced, award-winning full-service marketing agency, as well as learning the day-to-day functions of a public relations department.
Position based in Umdloti.
Requirements:
- Completed or studying towards a BA degree or similar, majoring in subjects aligned with communication, public relations, copywriting.
- Strong writing and administration skills are essential, as well as time management and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Computer literacy and confidence in dealing with people in person and on the telephone, would be necessary.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Any experience in property or an interest in this field would be useful but an affinity to and experience with any business and lifestyle brands would be sufficient
Role Expectations:
This position is hugely important as a support role to the whole team in making sure all basic admin and media information is kept up to date and to assist with whatever task is necessary in achieving the desired outcome for our clients. It is a huge learning experience as you’ll be exposed to so many different types of activities and disciplines within the department itself, as well as working alongside other talented departments within the greater agency.
This role requires a passion for communication and relationships, along with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and short timelines. The candidate must be fluent in English and the ability to speak other African languages as well as having any experience with eventing and activations is a bonus!
Any experience in property or an interest in this field would be useful but any experience with business and lifestyle brands would help.
Attention to detail, confidence and a good work ethic are must-have attributes for this candidate!
