Graphic Designer and Content Manager for Digital Signage
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer and Content Manager to join our team and contribute to the development and management of digital signage content. As a Graphic Designer and Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging graphics, videos, and other multimedia content to be displayed on digital signage platforms. Additionally, you will oversee the content management process, ensuring that the signage displays relevant, timely, and compelling content. The position will be based in JHB.
From time to time – this position might require you to travel throughout SA & Africa for business purpose. Salary: Depend on Qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design: Create eye-catching and visually appealing graphics, videos, and animations for digital signage displays. Develop a deep understanding of our brand guidelines and ensure that all designs align with our brand identity. Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative concepts for advertising campaigns, promotions, and informational content.
- Content Creation and Curation: Research, gather, and curate relevant and engaging content for digital signage displays. Write and edit engaging copy for digital signage content, ensuring clarity and effectiveness. Source and select high-quality images, videos, and other multimedia elements for use in digital signage.
- Content Management: Develop and maintain a content schedule to ensure timely updates and fresh content on digital signage displays. Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital signage content, making data-driven decisions to optimize engagement and impact. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to obtain content and ensure its accuracy and relevance.
- Technical Proficiency: Possess a strong understanding of digital signage software and hardware, and be capable of managing content on digital signage platforms. Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital signage displays and content management systems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and operations, to align digital signage content with broader marketing strategies and initiatives. Work closely with external vendors and agencies to ensure the seamless execution of digital signage projects.
- Social media: planning and executing social media strategies, creating and publishing content to a variety of platforms, and interacting with their communities and audiences.
