What you will be doing:
Content Creation
- Direct Marketing & Social Media: Assist in creating social media content across various platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Develop engaging content, including email marketing campaigns, blog posts, graphics, and video snippets, to support marketing and internal communication campaigns.
- Assist in managing and updating social media content calendars.
Advertising & Campaign Support:
- Conduct market research and assist in the development of audience targeting strategies. Uncover industry trends, competitor insights, and content marketing gems to inform strategic decision-making.
- Monitor campaign performance and generate reports to analyse effectiveness.
- Website & SEO Assistance: Assist with basic website updates, content optimisation, and blog management.
- Support SEO initiatives, including keyword research, on-page SEO tasks, and backlink strategies.
Creative & Branding Projects:
- Collaborate with the creative team on multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and design materials.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Assist with gathering and analysing data from digital platforms (Google Analytics, social media insights, SalesForce etc.) to assess the performance of campaigns.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal teams.
Events Planning:
- Research and advisement relevancy on industry-related events
- Collaborative conceptualisation of event set-ups.
- Logistics of event from conception to completion.
Administrative Support:
- Administrative assistance such as updating and maintaining the marketing department’s documentation and databases.
- Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Marketing and Communication Officer and Commercial Manager.
- Photo asset and stock management: Organize, label, and tag photo assets for future use, ensuring easy access for marketing and sales purposes.
- Stock management of all marketing collateral.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- 3-year degree/diploma in Marketing with a deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- 5-years’ experience in a similar role A passion for marketing data analysis, content creation and the future of AI in a marketing context
- Strong writing and editing skills (English), with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimisation techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workplace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs)
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Creative approach to challenges with the ability to think outside the box. Strong organisational skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar tools (Canva) is an advantage.
