About the role:

• IncAfrica is seeking a Social Media Manager intern or contract to join our team
• You will work closely with the editorial and commercial departments to support and elevate our social media presence
• This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with our audience build brand awareness and drive traffic to our content
• You will help us launch new verticals of content including podcasts and video

Social Media Strategy

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies aligned with IncAfricas editorial and commercial goals

Content Creation

• You will be responsible for creating and curating engaging and informational content across various social media platforms including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
• We are launching a podcast and video series experience with video content is a nice to have

Community and Audience Engagement

• You'll engage with our social media audience by responding to comments messages and inquiries promptly and professionally

Monitoring Industry developments

• Stay updated with the latest news and industry trends to identify opportunities IncAfrica can implement

Analytics and Reporting

• Be comfortable with social media analytics and be driven by insights and provide regular reports to the team highlighting key metrics and insights

Social Media Advertising

• Assist in managing social media ad campaigns to increase reach and engagement

• Ensure all social media content adheres to IncAfricas brand guidelines and tone of voice
