We are seeking a recent graduate to join our team on an initial fixed-term basis as an In-Studio Operations (Content Creator) Assistant.
The role requires an all-rounder and go-getter, working comfortably across ICT and media platforms.
You will play a crucial role in the planning, production, editing, and releasing digital media for Education Africa's projects.
Your responsibilities will include the management of the Education Africa studio and its technical connectivity, making you a vital part of our tech-savvy team. Additionally, you will coordinate studio events, and your role demands both creative skills and a strong understanding of studio equipment and technical troubleshooting.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
1. ICT Platform and Enablement:
- Proficiency in various ICT platforms.
- Knowledge of studio equipment, including speakers, cameras, and related devices.
- Ability to set up tablets and embed content.
- Proactive and innovative thinking.
2. Communication:
- Collaborate with network providers to manage and run the studio, as well as facilitate content production.
- Work closely with Education Africa's suppliers and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the studio.
- Reporting and evaluation of the implementation of the scope of work.
3. Basic Understanding of Connectivity:
- Identify and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Foster smooth communication between studio and Education Africa project hubs (located in Urban/ Peri-Urban/ Rural areas)
- Be tech-savvy
4. Videography: Pre-Production:
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate video shoots.
- Set up cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment.
- Rehearse live productions.
- Create Zoom links and book studio facilities.
Production:
- Film high-quality video content and broadcast live feeds.
- Manage live feeds to students of projects.
Post-Production:
- Edit and enhance video content.
- Curate and manage a library of support resources.
