We’re looking for a highly skilled, concept-driven Graphic Designer to join our creative team at Digital Cloud, one of South Africa’s leading digital marketing agencies.
You’ll play a key role in crafting visually striking, brand-consistent campaigns across social media, digital advertising, web, print, and motion platforms.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, in-office environment, enjoys taking creative ownership, and wants to deliver high-impact designs that drive business results.
From campaign ideation to final execution, you'll be involved in all stages of the creative process and work with various brands across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute creative digital and print assets for campaigns, websites, email, social media, and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams—strategists, copywriters, developers, animators, and videographers—to produce integrated, high-quality campaigns.
- Create cohesive branded experiences across channels including web, mobile, DTP, outdoor, and video.
- Develop static and animated/motion graphic content for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Translate marketing and strategic goals into compelling visual solutions aligned with client brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects across different client accounts, owning timelines and deliverables.
- Stay on top of design trends, tools, and technologies to keep creative output fresh, relevant, and high-performing. (Bonus)
- Assist in basic UI/UX or WordPress page layouts as needed.
- 2+ years experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on digital and social media.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing digital campaign work, brand designs, motion graphics, and layout designs.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to develop engaging, responsive layouts and adapt designs across multiple screen sizes.
- Deep understanding of typography, colour theory, visual hierarchy, and composition.
- Awareness of digital marketing metrics and how design contributes to performance (e.g., CTR, engagement).
- Strong communication and presentation skills—you’re confident sharing and defending your ideas.
- Ability to manage time and projects independently in a deadline-driven environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with motion graphics, animation or video editing (After Effects / Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with WordPress or basic front-end layout tools.
- Agency or multi-brand experience.
- A proactive, strategic mindset—you think beyond just the brief.
