- As the E-Commerce Administrator, you are responsible for maintaining and enhancing our online presence.
- This position reports directly to the eCommerce and Digital Strategy Executive, and encompasses a range of responsibilities critical to the efficient operation of our online store.
Duties & Responsibilities Catalogue and Product Management:
- Skillfully manage and maintain product catalogues ensuring all product information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
- This includes overseeing product attributes, verifying the accuracy and quality of product images and ensuring effective online merchandising.
- Website Navigation: Manage the setup and upkeep of website navigation, including understanding the website menu hierarchy, categories, tagging and filtering to enhance user experience.
- PIM Management: Ensure all product information in the Product Information Management system is current and accurate, including dimensions, materials and other key details. Maintain up-to-date product assets such as line drawings and care guides, working closely with the product team to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- User Testing and Website Enhancement: Assist in user testing for website enhancements or project implementations, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Digital Campaign Assistance: Support both organic and paid digital campaigns, including execution and subsequent reporting.
- Customer and Team Support: Address issues or queries from customers promptly and provide support to internal and external teams, including consultants.
- General Support: Provide flexible support to line manager, encompassing a range of tasks such as assisting with digital projects, participating in photoshoots and undertaking various administrative activities to enhance operational efficiency.
We are looking for someone with:
- Educational Background: Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent, with related tertiary education in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar e-commerce role.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of web design and web analysis, experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify will give you the advantage ), knowledge of digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, display & affiliate marketing), and familiarity with Product Information Management systems (PIM).
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Personal Attributes: Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and a detail-oriented, dedicated, competent approach with a positive and proactive attitude. The team member we are looking for needs to multitask effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment and perform in a manner that maximises profits.
