The Marketing executive is expected to implement a marketing event strategy that adopts a mix of traditional and innovative tactics.
This is initially a maternity leave cover role, with the scope for longer term work.
CHARGE runs 2 events a year in Europe and Houston for forward thinking energy marketing professionals.
CHARGE invites global leaders in energy and brand agencies to share ideas on marketing, communications and branding.
A schedule of approx 18 hours a week can be organised to suit the dynamic nature of the business and school work. We have a co-working space in Cape Town.
- Implement a marketing campaign for delegates to the event
- Implement a marketing plan for sponsorship lead generation
- Write and executive a social media content plan
- Use the full marketing mix to promote the conference in accordance with the marketing strategy from utilising below and above the line mediums including email, PR, social media, online advertising, trade advertising, website and search engine marketing.
- Manage the clean, verification and build of the database
- Negotiate barter details with appropriate media partners and associations
- Ensure show websites are fully up to date with latest information.
- Utilise and manage digital tools to enhance campaigns.
- Coordinate the design, production and mail of all marketing collateral, including sales brochures, conference brochures, post-show report, web banners/emails, etc.
