Creative Assistant

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join the Cadena team as a Creative Assistant (Intern Role).

This position will primarily focus on being part of the creative team and developing visual content for various projects and executive presentations, including but not limited to marketing materials and social media graphics.

• Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with various teams to turn data and research into high-quality executive presentations. This will making the consumption of data and complex information aesthetically pleasing and easy to consume without losing context or relevance
• You will support the design team in brainstorming and executing innovative ideas while contributing to the overall branding and communication of the company
• You will also be actively involved in marketing initiatives, assisting in the planning, scheduling, and roll-out of engaging content; promotion activities of business social media, running and streaming of events, production of material derived from events for marketing and branding purposes
• You will ensure that client branding is consistently upheld and accurately represented across multiple projects

Core Skills Required:

• Proficiency in design principles with hands-on experience creating visual content
• Capable of creating visuals that convey key messages clearly
• Proficiency in brand principles with the ability to work within established brand guidelines, and have a foundational understanding of branding concepts and the importance of brand consistency
• Ability to solve creative challenges through creative thinking
• Attention to detail and the ability to uphold brand consistency throughout different projects
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively across teams, while managing multiple projects
• Demonstrate an interest in business, or a willingness to develop a deeper understanding of business operations and strategies

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Proficient in social media platforms such as LinkedIn - Proficient in the latest design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Canva, Figma, Procreate or other related tools

Experience:

• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a creative role. Experience through an internship or freelance work or contract work creating visual content for various projects
• Familiar with working in a fast paced environment and meeting multiple deadlines - Strong ability in understanding verbal briefs
• A portfolio showcasing previous work and creative projects is advantageous
• Experience collaborating within a team
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects
• A bachelor’s degree or relevant academic background is advantageous
