to BRAND ACTIVATION AND Brand Challenge
The IIE-Vega vision of graduating a new breed of industry-ready iconoclasts is perhaps most fully realised in the famous IIE-Vega Brand Challenge. This exciting annual event puts students in the real world in order to give tangible substance to what it means to be creatively strategic and strategically creative.
IIE-Vega second year students are expected to do a full 360-degree brand analysis (Brand Activation) to ensure they are exposed to real ‘live’ client briefs to prepare them for the industry. IIE-Vega follows an applied theory, design thinking-based model that aims to identify and solve problems and spans over two weeks.
Brand Challenge for third year and honours students runs over a four-week period. Student teams from various disciplines investigate complex brand scenarios from all angles to identify the key issues facing the brand. Data Visualisation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Statistics. On completion of the programme, graduates would have attained the theoretical and technical skills in Data Analytics to inform business decisions and articulate into an appropriate Master's degree.
Since the aim of the qualification is to develop a Data Analyst who is equipped with theoretical, technical and practical knowledge, it is also important that graduates attain a thorough grounding in statistical and mathematical fundamentals. Therefore, the Statistical and Mathematical Analysis module will provide students with mathematical and statistical theory, concepts and practical knowledge which are required to interpret and interrogate data.
