Brand Challenges
In keeping with its core objective of producing graduates that are industry ready, Vega places a significant premium on the annual Brand Challenge. This is a hugely rewarding initiative that mirrors the actual battleground of the industry by having students form their own groups come up with solutions to tackle current business problems.
Every year, our honours students and second-and third-year degree students form simulated consultancy teams to work on live briefs from industry clients. The process includes having to conduct research and to come up with solutions for real-life 'brand challenges'.
Students participating in the Brand Challenge have an opportunity to develop marketing communication solutions for selected brands.
The top solutions in each category are actually implemented, and results are fed back to students.
